Revive works was a proud supporter in the mission and vision of Open Source Ecology and it's journey to revolutionize the future by creating an open source Global Village Construction Set, complete with available plans at a mere fraction of the cost of existing manufactures. Their mission will bring opportunity and economic options to impoverished rural areas all over the world as well as acting as a merging point between Economy, Ecology, and Open Source collaboration. 2018: Revive Works Remodeling funded a book written by our own Director, Alan Pierce, over an 18 month period. The book is titled, An Artist's Odyssey: Chasing Ghosts, Masters and The Business of Art, detailing his experience as a student, instructor and professional artist over the past three decades. (https://www.alanpierce-art.com/books-by-alan-pierce-1)
The book was written as a fundraising effort in partnership with an amazing organization named Harapan Project. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the book for a 12 month period was donated to their amazing mission including a grass roots social sharing campaign that our Director executed over a 12 month period, designed to help increase international and local exposure for the organizations' mission and vision.
Harapan Project is an NGO that focuses on on funding basic necessities for the impoverished people of Sumbawa, including nutrition, access to drinking water, health, education and basic infrastructure. (https://proyectoharapan.org)
